Why To Avoid Going to Legoland Malaysia during School Holidays?
Legoland is very spread out and in dire need of more shady trees and shelters from the hot sun, humid weather and rainfall that always come unpredictably. We went during the December school holidays so at time, there were very huge crowds of visitors , consisting of eager local Malaysian and foreigners where the bihg numbers are Singaporeans.
When we passed thru the maing ate entrance we were so shocked that a very very long lines of people was queing at the ticket counter, how ever to our relieve, we were lucky to have annual passes so we can go straight to the entrance. So for those of you planning to visit Legoland Malaysia , it is wise to buy your tickets online so as to avoid the big crowd and the long time to enter Legoland theme park inside
This is a story from a friend of mine. She and her family was there for two days, not because she didnt cover most of the rides, but it was because of the huge crowds and the ridiculously long waiting times in the heat. On the Sunday that she first went in , she succeeded to play only four rides/attractions and the following Monday only three.
Seriously, the management should have impose a certain quota on the number of visitors per day . This is to ensure that big numbers of people would be able to enjoy and have chance to experience the games and other components of plays .
She is also an avid theme park visitors and always experience long queues at famous games throughout all the theme park out there but it was so tiresome to wait long period of time.
In her opinion more cooling devices such as mist fans, air conditioners and water coolers should be installed considering that the weather around Legoland Malaysia is so hot not to mention the Medini Malaysia generally a new township with lot of ummatured trees. Some trees are in seedling state where the height were only 2-3 metres tall
Then she said she hate to compare, but the nearest international theme park ie Universal Studios Singapore that was only 45km from Legoland Malaysia was so much more comfortable and pleasing in term of human comfort provided. Clearly the management of Universal Studio theme park thinks and roll out facilities to make the area more conducive and more comfortable to the visitors
No complaints about the price of beverage and food, it is the normal standard for attractions. Cant expect it to be the same price as at supermarkets and mall food courts. They dont seem to conduct bag checks, so feel free to bring in your own food and drinks as long as it is not too obvious. Pricy souvenirs, which is also normal at theme parks.
On a parting note, her tips to visitors shoould be :
1. Avoid at all cost going to Legoland Malaysia during Malaysian/Singaporean school holidays even on the weekdays
2. Apply sunblock/screen liberally
3. Drink lots of fluids
4. Bring umbrellas, rain coats and portable fans
5. Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoe – the weather is hot & humid even after the rain pours down.
6. Have your meals at the adjoining Mall of Medina if you dont like the price of food and drinks inside Legoland. Or better still, find an accomodation like homestay and other type of accommodation around Legoland Malaysia such as homestay or guesthouse around Bandar Bukit Indah that is only 10-15 minutes drive to Legoland Malaysia theme park. Bandar Bukit Indah offers 2 Malls like Aeon Mall Bukit Indah(super-super large Mall with 3 storeys high shopping levels) and Tesco Hypermarket with cheaper goods compared to Premium class Aeon Mall Bukit Indah
This is my story from my friends, who was a bit dissappointed due to large numbers of visitors to Legoland Malaysia. The unnecessary disappointment could be avoided if Legoland Malaysia plan ahead and put quota to the numbers visitors allowed per day. In doing so, visitors wont be wasting their time waiting in a long que to play .

Oleh sebab Bukit Indah juga adalah bandar perniagaan( Central Business District ) untuk Iskandar Puteri, korang nak cari Bank-bank(ada lebih 7 buah), klinik, cafe, resto, kopitiam dan macam-macam lagi kemudahan pun senang.
Ini berbeza dengan Legoland Malaysia yang walaupun tu pusat hiburan, korang nak cari kedai mamak pon tak jumpa kat keliling Legoland tu.. (iaitu di bandar Medini Iskandar Malaysia)
Anda dari K.L, Kedah, Terengganu, Kelantan, Sabah, Sarawak Camaner nak Cari Dillenia?
Senang jer, Dillenia Homestay kat sebelah Exit Bukit Indah(PLUS) so, bila korang sampai je Exit ni dalam 350meter pandu dah sampai Dillenia Homestay, kan senang nak cari, tak yah lah pening, pusing sana pusing sini
